    Bruiser 2009 - 2012

    I miss you B!

Bruiser was a true clown, no matter how down you were, one look at his face and it brought joy back into your life.   He would snort around the house, curious about everything in sight, but mostly looking for tennis balls.   B loved his tennis balls, he loved playing fetch, he loved hidding them, and he loved chewing them up.   Bruiser had an eye for balls.   I rember taking him to Fiesta Island where there were acres upon acres of rocky, hilly, uneven terrain and by the end of the walk he had found him a tennis ball.   When he would find one, he came running back, his little corkscrew tail wagging as much as it could, and you could she how happy he was.

Bruiser loved everyone!   Everytime you would pick up the little guy he would give you a friendly growl.   That was Bruiser's style.  He also loved the beach, and getting wet and sandy.  He would always greet you at the door with a toy in his mouth and then do a lap around the house, that was Bruisers routine.

I miss you soo much B.   I LOVE YOU!   I want you to know that you will always be a part of the family, and I know you are only upstairs - but watch of your brother and I.   We will never forget you.

    "I Loved You Best"

So this is where we part, My Friend,
and you'll run on, around the bend,
gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.
I will go on, I'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before I grieve.
There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
will remember well all you've taught.
Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this...I loved you best.
